BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
MINUTES AND ORDER OF BUSINESS
May 27, 2015 in the Public Library Memorial Room.
Elected Officers – Mayor Ronald A. Frohne II, Trustee Robin Moshier, Trustee Warren Leonard, and Trustee Donna Walsh. Not present: Trustee Frances Hazelton
Appointed Officers – Dayle A. Barra, Clerk
Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by Mayor Frohne, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance
Property Maintenance Hearing:
Motion to declare the following properties a public nuisance and authorize remediation pursuant to Property Maintenance Code § 207-9 of Village Code by Trustee Moshier, 2nd by Trustee Walsh. Trustees Moshier, Leonard, Walsh and Mayor Frohne voted yes.

Motion to declare the following properties a public nuisance and authorize remediation pursuant to Property Maintenance Code § 207-9 of Village Code by Trustee Leonard, 2nd by Trustee Moshier. Trustees Moshier, Leonard and Walsh voted yes.
72 Church Street –rubbish & debris
Christine Corrigan expressed concern over Red Apple fuel station abandoned status. The Board contacted NY DEC previously over same concern and DEC has addressed the issue and calls were made to Village Office regarding securing demolition applications.
Fire Chief Hallock – Mark Elderkin has Advanced Life Support Certification and Brian Lynch is replacing Mark Whaley for machine/vehicle maintenance. He also furnished Board with information on available funding for new radio equipment and will pursue grant writing for potential reimbursements.
DPW Superintendent reported on dead trees, Spring Park bandstand status, and street repairs.
Judy Stone and Christine Corrigan requested the Board sponsor some of the Chamber of Commerce summer concerts in Spring Park. The Board agreed to do so.
Motion to approve minutes from 5/12/2015 by Trustee Leonard, 2nd by Trustee Moshier – all voted yes.

- Abstract #24 Funds: General $5696.17, Water $16,185.15, Sewer $1440.55, Cemetery $1331.36, Trust & Agency $82.64; total: $24,735.87. Motion to approve Abstract #24 by Trustee Moshier, 2nd by Trustee Leonard – all voted yes.
- Joint Village/Town Comprehensive Planning Committee discussion.
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE MAYOR TO EXECUTE WARRANT
Upon motion of Trustee Moshier, seconded by Trustee Leonard, and unanimously approved the following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED, to authorize Mayor Frohne to execute the Tax Warrant for fiscal year 2015-2016 in the form attached to these minutes.
Mayor Frohne – Discussed issues concerning the Treasurer’s audit. The Mayor has contacted firm for discussion.
Trustee Leonard – Employee positions and licensures discussed.
Trustee Moshier – Emphasized concerns with sidewalk/street obstructions last summer. Discussion followed.
Motion to commence an Executive Session for the purpose of discussing employee performance with possible disciplinary consequences at 8:34pm by Trustee Moshier, 2nd by Trustee Walsh – all voted yes.
No actions to be taken and not to return to open session for the conduct of further Village business.
Motion to conclude Executive Session at 9:53pm by Trustee Moshier, 2nd by Trustee Walsh – all voted yes.
Motion to adjourn meeting at 9:53pm by Trustee Moshier, 2nd by Trustee Walsh – all voted yes.
